About Me

I started out drawing at very young age and branched out into building models. As I grew, I started to create figures out of telephone wire. Unfortunately, my kids thought they were great toys and now I maybe two figures left out of the thirty I created. I moved on to making figures out of super sculpy.

I still draw and started to kitbash models when I saw I could never hope to be as exact a modeler as I have seen in modeling magazines. Kitbashing models, for those who don't know is when you take various parts of models (car, military, science fiction) and piece them together into something not quite of this reality.

For the past couple of years I have been reviewing some of my old drawings and trying to write a one page short story to go along with it. This seems to be the most successful project so far, as that I have been featured on a web site called "author_me.com" , which showcases writers.

So now I divide my time between writing stories (up to 119 stories) and kitbashing models(currently reworking a Star Wars snowspeeder into something a little different), and also playing on the computer (surfing the sites and playing Morrowind), rescuing dogs(transporting golden retrievers given up for adoption through an organization called As Good As Gold), work(I'm the Asst. art director for a great metropolitan newspaper) and reading(mostly sf on the el).

Anyway, I hope you find something here mildly amusing or perhaps even cool to draw your attention. Have fun, be careful and look both ways before crossing the street.

Thanks, Lar.
